Young, famed and acclaimed British journalist Alison Monkaila witnesses and records a massacre in the central African country of Bantzuiana. She eludes the mass-murdering mercenaries only to be brazenly killed in an attempt to suppress news of the massacre.
The mercenaries go free, shipped out of Bantzuiana to the United States where they become successful, affluent members of society, their old identities and heinous past deeply buried.
Twelve year old Mbati survived the massacre by sheer luck. Two decades later, bankrolled by a wealthy recluse, he recovers the recording made by Alison and uncovers the new identities of the mercenaries. He then embarks on a mission to exact justice, his brand of justice, on the fiends who orphaned him and upended his life. Aided by a futuristic drone that fires ordinary bullets, the authorities are floundering and unable to pin him down.
